
Ceren Başak Araz
Ceren Başak Araz graduated from Bilkent University with an honor’s degree. She obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Health Psychology from Okan University, her research focusing on validity and reliability analyses of the Comprehensive Breast Cancer Knowledge Test for Turkey. She completed EMDR trainings (Level I & II) and Solution Focused Therapy trainings.
Ceren Başak Araz worked at the Institute for Behavioral Studies full-time between the years 2010-2013. Since 2014, she has been employed both at a foundation university as a student advisor and at the Institute for Behavioral Studies as a part-time clinician.
Ceren Başak Araz works with adult and adolescent clients and uses Brief Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and EMDR Therapy with a cognitive-behavioral framework in her clinical practice. She works primarily with trauma, depression, anxiety disorders and relationship problems, and provides psychotherapy in English as well.
