Specialist Clinical Psychologist Ece Eryılmaz Seçen, graduated with a high honors degree from Istanbul Bilgi University Psychology Department after graduating from F.M.V. Private Ayazağa Işık High School. She graduated from the Clinical Psychology Master's Program (adults) at Bahçeşehir University with a thesis titled "Gender Bias in Recognizing Children with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder of Primary School Teachers and Important Factors for Classroom Management," and received the designation of Specialist Clinical Psychologist. During her undergraduate degree, she completed internships at the DBE Institute of Behavioral Sciences, the Bengi Semerci Institute, the Ekip Norma Razon, the Istanbul Medical Faculty Hospital (Consultation Liaison Polyclinic), ÇARE - DER, and the Private Surp Pirgiç Armenian Hospital. During her master's program, she completed one year of supervised psychotherapy studies for adults at the Private Surp Pirgiç Armenian Hospital. She obtained training on the MMPI, DENVER II Developmental Screening Test, WISC-R, and WISC-IV from the Turkish Psychological Association and finished training on the Moxo Attention Measurement Test. She received 16PF training from DBE Institute of Behavioral Sciences. She completed Attentioner Attention Training. She completed EMDR I and EMDR II trainings given by Emre Konuk. Furthermore, she completed Children and Adolescents EMDR I and EMDR II trainings from Prof. DR. Ümran Korkmazlar. She participated in Solution Oriented Coaching with Children and Adolescents. She completed Child-Centered Play Therapy training and supervision by Specialist Psychological Counsellor Filiz Çetin. She received the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Children training given by Associate Professor Serap Özer. She participated in SOBECE Social Skills Child Education. Moreover, she completed the Dialectical Behavior Therapy training I and II modules given by Linehan Institute. She obtained the trainings provided by Dr. Neslihan Zapçı on the Rorschach, CAT, TAT Tests and Evaluation of the Child's Spiritual Functioning. Also, she completed I. and II. modules of Theraplay training given by Saara Salo. She received Schema Therapy for Children and Adolescents training by Dr. Christof Loose. She successfully finished Strategic Family Therapy training by Emre Konuk. She completed the EMDR Sand Tray Protocol Intensive Certification Program for Professionals.

Since 2015, Ece Eryılmaz Seçen has provided psychotherapy services at the Child and Adolescent Department of the DBE Institute of Behavioral Sciences. She works with children and adolescents with emotional problems, academic difficulties, anxiety disorders, fear, anger control, trauma, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, special learning difficulties, social skills, test anxiety, and improvement issues. She conducts supporting practices for learning and attention deficiencies, provides career counseling, and counsels parents by monitoring the developmental and emotional progress of children aged between 0 to 3 years. She assists adults suffering from trauma, attachment issues, anxiety disorders, depression, and relationship problems. She utilizes EMDR Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Theraplay, Short-Term Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy in her work with children, adolescents, and adults.

* In 2020, she became an "EMDR Europe Approved Accredited Therapist" after finishing her training and supervision along with her work with adults.

*She conducts trainings at the DBE Institute of Behavioral Sciences and in various institutions. She is the author of a published article on ADHD and multiple book chapters.
