
Pınar Çelik
Clinical psychologist Pınar Çelik received her BA from the Department of Psychology at Middle East Technical University (KKK). During her undergraduate education, she completed her clinical internship at NP İstanbul and Lüleburgaz State Hospital.
She went to England in 2012 and completed her master's degree in Clinical Child Psychology at Anglia Ruskin University. She worked as a research assistant in the Department of Psychiatry at Cambridge University during her postgraduate studies in England and completed her clinical internship at Addenbrooke's Hospital.
She received her Play Therapy and Filial Therapy trainings from Psychological Consultant Filiz Çetin. She completed several trainings, including Cognitive Therapy training from CBT İstanbul, EMDR Level I and EMDR Level I with Children and Adolescents trainings given by Ümran Korkmazlar at the Institute for Behavioral Sciences (DBE). In addition to her undergraduate and graduate education, she attended many national and international seminars and workshops in the field.
She uses various therapy methods for the emotional-behavioral problems of children and young people and provides counseling to families about their children. Trauma, emotional and behavioral problems, anxiety disorders, phobias, depression and school adjustment processes and problems related to this are at the forefront of her clinical practice. In her clinical work, she utilizes EMDR, Play Therapy, Filial Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) methods. She is also an authorized specialist who can administer the WISC-4 and Stanford-Binet tests.
She is a member of Turkish Psychologists’ Association (Türk Psikologlar Derneği) and EMDR-TR Association (EMDR Türkiye Derneği).
