
Şebnem Ergül
Şebnem ERGÜL left her full-time corporate job, which she started in 1987 and continued without a break, in December 2011 of her own accord. She worked as a training specialist at Türkiye İş Bankası between 1987-1991. From 1991 to 2011, she worked as an inspector, human resources manager, and human resources consultant at ISE (Istanbul Stock Exchange). Between 1995 and 2011, she worked as the human resources/personnel manager at the same institution.
Ergül has a thesis called "Comparison of Turkish and European Capital Markets in the Transition to the European Union" and her book "Personel Management" is among the publications of the ISE.
Şebnem Ergül participated in the “Ethics Officer” and “Training of the Trainers” programs given by Frank Navran, the Chief Advisor of the “Ethics Resource Center”; she worked on the Turkishization of the program. Between 2004-2008, she served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkey Ethical Values Center.
She served as a member of the "Ethics Committee" at the Personnel Management Association for six years; contributed to the creation of ethical guidelines and other relevant regulations.
As a member of the Personnel Management Association, she took part in various working groups; she still works in the working group on the determination of occupational standards in human resources.
Şebnem Ergül, who continues her studies on total quality, has been working as an evaluator for 10 years in the Total Quality Awards held in cooperation with TUSIAD and KALDER.
Regarding coaching, she attended the Coaches Training Institute's five-stage "Co-active Coaching" training and received the "Co-active Coach" certificate. She also received the "Executive Coaching" training.
Şebnem Ergül is still doing corporate coaching. She also works as a part of working groups on the determination of occupational standards and training in the International Coach Federation Turkey.
She provides training in human resources on risk management, compromise, ethics, leadership, coaching, motivation, and the correct recruitment.
Şebnem Ergül has been working on the Leaders' Coffeehouse project for four years and makes presentations at the Human Resources Summit.
Şebnem Ergül teaches "Human Resources Management" at Bilgi University.
